Lord, thank you for Your Word and the work You've begun in me. Holy Spirit, prepare my heart and reveal what needs to change so I can bear good fruit. I invite You into every area of my life, knowing Your kingdom must reign in me before I pursue it elsewhere.
"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 13:31-32 describes the Kingdom of God as a mustard seed — although it starts as the smallest seed, it grows into a mighty tree. This tree becomes a place where others can find shelter, illustrating how the Kingdom expands from humble beginnings becoming a refuge for many.
Matthew 13:33 teaches that we are the leaven of the world. Just as leaven transforms an entire batch of dough, the Kingdom of God works through us to bring change and transformation to the world around us. Be mindful of what you say and do. We are world changers.
Matthew 6:33 instructs us to seek first the Kingdom of God above all else. This is not just praying that His Kingdom comes into the world, but actively being the portal through which the kingdom comes.
Luke 17:20-21 helps us to understand that the Kingdom of God begins in us. As Christ sits on the throne of our hearts, we are then able to see His presence in us, change the world around us.
